Did make sure all the files were in the folder? You may need to run it as administrator. I'm all the time having this computer ask me if I'm sure I want to do this or if I really want to do that. I declare, one of these days I'm going to slap it upside the head for being so insubordinate.

I gave up on this; it will not work and I have no idea why, I always check the Run as Admin in a programs properties, I'm on Win7...I started using Echo's Postal, which does the same thing, but I find the layout very annoying. I cannot send Echo a message at her sourceforge site, it will not let me even though I signed in using my Google account, do you know where else I can get support for her tool? Thanks

Okay I understand how to use your program: you have to drag and drop the file onto the shortcut Roll Eyes okay now I'm frustrated with the layout; how come the preview pane is not built in?

Is this a one-package at a time tool? I got the impression from the rest of the thread is was like simscategoriser or similar (well maybe without the recategorising cabability)

Mary, I'm not sure what's going wrong with it, then. I just double-click the .exe file or the shortcut I made to it, the program opens then I click File>Open then go to the file I want to open and there it is. I'm also using 64-bit Windows 7 but I also used it on my old XP machine.

I never could get my head wrapped around Postal--of course I think that's a lack of brain power on my part. I find S3PE to be more intuitive for me but not everyone's wired the same way.

Inge, it will open multiple files at a time into separate windows. The original program window stays at it is then the file opens up into a new one. I use it when I want something quick to look at files for renaming or exporting textures and the like. For anything more heavy-duty than that I use S3PE.
